The European Union WikiProject is a group of Wikipedians dedicated to expanding and improving Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to the European Union. It is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list there.

Our goal for the articles within the scope of the project is to:

  • Provide a consistent theme for the articles.
  • Improve their quality.
  • Categorise them in a coherent manner.
  • Manage the EU WikiPortal.
Scope

Generally, any EU-related article is considered to be a valid topic for this project; its primary work, however, is concentrated in the following areas of the EU:

  • Institutions, activities and policies
  • Economy, including Societates Europaeae
  • Enlargement process
  • History and Treaties

As of 6 February 2025, there are 6,963 articles within the scope of WikiProject European Union, of which 2 are featured. This makes up 0.1% of the articles on Wikipedia and 0.02% of featured articles and lists. Including non-article pages, such as talk pages, redirects, categories, etcetera, there are 13,926 pages in the project.
